Interview tips

Our hour-long meeting is designed as an information sharing session. We will share with you the exciting work of CentrePoint and our processes. We'll also ask you about:

  • Areas of expertise
  • Areas of interest
  • Availability and timing

At CentrePoint, we pride ourselves in making the ideal match between VMCs and clients. To assist in this process, we will ask you to illustrate some of your skills through specific examples from your previous experiences. In preparation for our meeting, you may want to think about some specific examples that illustrate:

  • your experience;
  • a project that demonstrates your expertise in your areas of interest;
  • your management and skills;
  • your experiences working with diverse groups of people.

Similar to a Behaviour Descriptive Style Interview, these examples are ideally explained like a story. In other words, describe what the situation was (circumstance), what you did about it (action) and how it turned out (result). We look forward to meeting you
