UNCOVERING GEMS IN YOUR EXISTING DATABASE

This session will focus on how to identify, find, and better understand your current and future donor populations.  In a workshop format, working with samples of some of the participants' live data, you will learn how to use everyday office tools like Microsoft Excel to organize, arrange and analyze your donor population using well recognized market modeling methods.

Participants will learn:
  • Data mining concepts and methodologies
  • How to implement recency, frequency and monetary marketing concepts and metrics
  • How to implement a data mining project using Microsoft Excel
  • How to use the results of data mining for Fund Development actions and strategies
