What Can You Expect?

In this Community of Practice, you will connect with other Board members and EDs who are interested in implementing Governance as Leadership, sharing their experience, learning together and strengthening their Board’s effectiveness.

As a group you will meet 5 times over 2010 / 2011 to discuss the theory, tools and techniques of Governance as Leadership, what has worked for you, what hasn’t and what you could do differently. You may explore topics such as Group Dynamics, Orienting New Board Members, Quick Chair Tools and Decision Making Supports. The agenda will be shaped by the participants.

4. Your preferred meeting day (Tuesdays or Thursdays) - see the dates below.
5. In your own words, tell us your thoughts on Board leadership and what you hope to learn during these sessions

24 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
